Role Overview:

The Brand Design & Guidelines Specialist is responsible for translating finalized logos into comprehensive, cohesive, and practical brand identities. Your primary responsibility will be to develop detailed brand guidelines and apply them expertly to stationery, corporate collateral, and various digital and print assets. Your goal is to ensure visual consistency, professionalism, and alignment with client brand strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Guideline Development:
    • Create detailed brand guidelines outlining logo usage, color schemes, typography rules, iconography, spacing, and brand application examples.
    • Clearly define the rules and rationale behind visual identity choices to ensure consistency across platforms.
  • Stationery & Collateral Design:
    • Expertly design business cards, letterheads, envelopes, folders, packaging, and other corporate collateral.
    • Ensure all designs align strictly with the established brand guidelines and are optimized for print production.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Closely collaborate with logo designers, ensuring the integrity of the original brand vision.
    • Liaise effectively with internal teams (marketing, social media, print production) to ensure alignment and quality across all brand touchpoints.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Review and proof all branded materials to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency.
    • Keep up-to-date with design trends and industry best practices to deliver fresh and relevant brand solutions.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 3+ years experience in brand identity, guidelines creation, and stationery/collateral design.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in developing brand guidelines, stationery design, and practical brand application.
  • Excellent typography, layout, color theory, and visual storytelling skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and project management abilities.
  • Ability to clearly communicate and explain brand decisions both internally and externally.
